Privacy Policy

What you enter

To calculate your chart, the app asks for a name and your date, time and place of birth. If you use Compare Charts, it also asks for another person's details. This information is saved only in the app's private storage on your device so you don't have to enter it again. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and all astronomical calculations and the city lookup happen on your device.

Advertising (free version)

The free version shows a small banner on some pages and offers optional rewarded videos that unlock a reading. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. To deliver, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:

• your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), only where permitted;
• your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
• device and app information, and how you interact with ads;
• diagnostic and performance information about the ads.

Where the law requires it, for example in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and some US states, the app asks for your consent with Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time under Settings › Ad privacy when that option applies to you. On iPhone and iPad, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether ads may use your device's identifier; if you decline, you still see ads, but they aren't personalized with it. Ads are limited to content suitable for teens. If you are under 18, ads are never personalized and the app does not ask to track you. We never send your birth details, readings, name or partner details to Google or any ad network.

US privacy choices. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, when the free version shows personalized ads, Google AdMob's collection of your advertising identifier and device information may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising under the California CCPA/CPRA and other US state privacy laws. To opt out, use the ad privacy choices in the app under Settings › Ad privacy, or limit ad tracking in your phone's settings (on iPhone, choose "Ask App Not to Track"; on Android, delete your advertising ID). Purchases

The 2026–2027 Founding Member Pass is a single payment that unlocks every standard reading and removes all ads until December 31, 2027, on whatever date you buy it; it does not renew automatically. It is on sale until November 30, 2027, and the end date is shown before you buy. Each Akashic Vault edition is a separate single payment and stays yours to reread. Vault editions are not included in the Pass and don't remove ads. Each Year Book "Your Star Chronicle" edition (2026 and 2027) is also a separate single payment. All payments are processed entirely by Google Play or Apple's App Store under their own privacy policies. The app only asks the store which items you own and saves the answer on your device; it never receives your payment details.

If you reached the app through a partner's link, Google Play and the App Store may tell us, in aggregated form only, how many installs and purchases came from that link. We use this only to pay our partners. It never identifies you.

Your profile photo

If you add a profile photo, the app shrinks it and stores it only on your device. It is never uploaded or shared, and deleting your saved data or uninstalling the app removes it.

Your Celestial Diary and Year Book

Diary entries, moods and gratitude notes are stored only on your device and are never uploaded; nobody else can read them, including us. Your Year Book is created on your device from your own entries and leaves it only if you choose to save, share or print it.

Reminders

If you turn on daily reminders, the app schedules them on your own device using your phone's notification system. No server is involved and nothing is sent anywhere. You can turn reminders off in the app's Settings or in your phone's settings.

Partners and outreach

This section applies to creators and influencers we invite to, or who join, our partner program.

• Where we got your details. We contact creators only at email addresses or channels they publicly list for collaborations or business inquiries, or that they gave us directly.
• What we keep. Your name or handle, email address, public profile link and, if you join, your personal partner links, payout details, signed agreement and monthly commission records.
• Why. To send you a one-time invitation, run the partnership, calculate and pay commissions, and meet tax and accounting duties. Our legal bases are our legitimate interest in proposing a business collaboration and, once you join, performing our agreement with you.
• Who sees it. Only Destiny By Luminaries, operated by DBL Nexus, and the payment provider you choose (for example PayPal, Wise or your bank) when we pay you. We never sell or share it for marketing.
• How long. If you don't reply or you decline, we delete your details within 30 days. If you join, we keep partnership records while it runs and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting laws require.
• Your choices. Every message we send tells you how to object. Reply "No thanks" and we won't contact you again. You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time.

This website

This section applies to our website, www.dblnexus.com/destinybyluminaries.

• Waitlist form. It asks only for your email address, and you join by ticking the consent box. We use your email only to email you once, when the app launches, and then delete it. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or emailing us.
• Partner application form. It asks for your name, email address, main platform, handle or link, audience size and main market. We use these details only to review your application and contact you about the partner program. You must be 18 or older to apply. We keep an application while we review it and, if you become a partner, as described under Partners and outreach. If we don't accept your application, we delete it within 30 days of our reply.
• Who handles it. Both forms are collected through Netlify Forms. Netlify, the company that hosts this website, stores submissions as our processor. Form notifications and emails you send us are kept in our email inbox, which is provided by Google. We never sell these details or add you to any other mailing list.
• Deleting your details. Email us at any time and we will delete your form details and confirm by email. If we learn that we hold form details from someone under 16, we delete them.
• Hosting. Like any web host, Netlify processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the website and keep it secure. Netlify keeps these server logs for a short period under its own security policies.
• Fonts, cookies and settings. The typefaces are served from this website, not from Google. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking. If you press the sound or pause-animations button, your choice is saved only in your browser's local storage and is never sent anywhere. If you close the waitlist reminder bar, your browser remembers that only for the current session. You can clear these in your browser settings.
• Do Not Track. This website does not track you across sites, so it does not change its behavior when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal; there is nothing to switch off.
• International transfers. Netlify, Inc. (USA) hosts this website and stores form submissions as our processor under its Data Processing Agreement. Google provides our email inbox under its own terms and, as AdMob, processes advertising data. Both may process data in the United States and other countries. Netlify and Google are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and Netlify also relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where that does not apply.

Legal bases

Where laws such as the GDPR or the Philippine Data Privacy Act require a legal basis, we rely on:

• Consent for personalized ads, and for storing or reading information on your device (such as the advertising identifier) where the law requires consent, and for the waitlist launch email. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interests for running a secure website, showing non-personalized ads, preventing fraud, answering your emails, reviewing partner applications and proposing a collaboration to creators.
• Contract for providing your in-app purchases and running our agreement with partners.
• Legal obligation for keeping tax and accounting records.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, the EU and UK GDPR and US state privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal data, and to complain to your data protection authority (in the Philippines, the National Privacy Commission; in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). To use these rights, contact us at the email below.

You can also withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier processing, ask for your data in a portable format, ask us to restrict how we use it, and, under Philippine law, claim damages. We reply within one month, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Device features

• Motion sensors may be used to tilt the starry background as you move your phone. Readings are used only in the moment and are never stored or sent.
• Vibration provides light haptic feedback when you tap.

Deleting your data

In the app, open Settings and tap Delete my saved data. Uninstalling the app also deletes everything it stored. To protect your privacy, the app's data is excluded from cloud and phone-to-phone backups, so it does not move to a new phone automatically; use Download my data to keep a copy. To move to a new phone, use Download my data, then Import my data on the new phone. Because your birth details never leave your device, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. To reset your advertising identifier, use your phone's privacy settings.

Children

Destiny By Luminaries is for people aged 16 and older. The app asks users to confirm their age, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. The Sex Life readings stay hidden unless the user confirms they are 18 or older. Partners must be 18 or older.

Readings are for reflection

Astrology, numerology and tarot readings are offered for entertainment and self-reflection. They are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Data controller: Destiny By Luminaries, operated by DBL Nexus. DBL Nexus is the trading name of the individual developer shown as the seller in the app store. Registration details will be published here once complete. The person we have designated as responsible for data protection (our data protection officer under the Philippine Data Privacy Act) can be reached at the same email.
