Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Destiny By Luminaries app and this website (together, the "Service"), provided by Destiny By Luminaries, operated by DBL Nexus ("DBL", "we"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. Apple's and Google's store terms also apply to your download and to any purchases you make.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and the app asks you to confirm your age when you first open it. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms and to any purchase. Sex Life readings are only for users aged 18 or older. If you enter someone else's birth details, you confirm that they have given you permission.

3. This website

• Waitlist: joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation to download or buy anything. We will email you when the app launches.
• Partner applications: sending an application does not guarantee acceptance. If you are accepted, the partner program is governed by a separate written partner agreement.
• Information on this website describes the app as planned for launch. Features, prices and dates shown in the app stores at the time of purchase are the ones that apply.

4. The app

The app calculates a birth chart on your device from the birth date, time and place you provide, and offers personal readings and premium monthly editions. We may update the app to fix problems, keep it secure, follow the law or improve it. Updates will not cost you extra. If an update materially reduces a paid feature during the period it covers, we will tell you in advance in the app, and if you are an EU consumer you may end the purchase and get a proportionate refund through the store or from us.

5. For reflection and entertainment

Astrology content is provided for self-reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and you should not base important decisions on it. If you are dealing with a health, mental-health, legal or money problem, please speak to a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

6. Free version, purchases and payments

• Free version: the app is free to install and use, and shows ads. You can choose to watch a rewarded video ad to unlock one standard reading: daily readings until midnight, Monthly and life readings for 24 hours.
• 2026–2027 Founding Member Pass: a one-time purchase (US$12.99, €12.99, ₱749 or the local store price). It removes all ads and unlocks all standard content from the day you buy it until 31 December 2027. The end date is the same whenever you buy, so buying later gives a shorter period. It is on sale until 30 November 2027. It is not an auto-renewing subscription and never charges you again. On the App Store it is listed as a "non-renewing subscription". Standard content does not include Akashic Vault editions or the Year Book.
• Akashic Vault: premium monthly editions, each a designed manuscript on one topic of hidden history (for example, the secret history of tarot), not a personal reading. Each edition is sold separately as a one-time purchase (US$4.99, €4.99, ₱289 or the local store price). There are 15 editions, from October 2026 to December 2027, and Chapter 1 of every edition is free. Each edition becomes available on its release date. Editions you buy are yours to keep. Buying an edition does not remove ads. Nothing renews automatically.
• Year Book “Your Star Chronicle”: a keepsake book of your year, made on your device from your own Celestial Diary entries, with your year’s tallies (such as moods, rituals and streaks). Your book holds the entries you write from the day you start, so a 2026 edition started at launch covers the last weeks of 2026. When your year is sealed on 1 January, it adds a final reading and summary of your year, the lessons you learned, your karmic cycles and guidance for the year ahead. If any part of a sealed Year Book is not ready on 1 January, we will tell you in the app and deliver it in a free update by 31 January. If you would rather not wait, you can ask for a refund through the store you bought from. It is sold as a separate one-time purchase for each year (2026: US$9.99, €9.99, ₱449; 2027: US$19.99, €19.99, ₱899; or the local store price). The Year Book you buy is yours to keep. Your diary entries are stored only on your phone and are not backed up, so keep your phone or export your Year Book. It is not included in the Founding Member Pass. Nothing renews automatically.
• € prices include VAT. In some places, such as the US, sales tax may be added at checkout.
• Apple or Google process all purchases. Refunds are handled under their refund policies and applicable consumer law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have a legal right of withdrawal for digital content; the store will tell you at checkout if that right ends once the content is made available to you.
• On iPhone and iPad, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
• Purchases are licences tied to your store account. You can restore them in the app on a device signed in to the same store account.
• Buying through a creator's store link does not change the price you pay.

7. Advertising

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob, subject to our Privacy Policy and your consent choices. We are not responsible for advertisers' products or websites.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service. This includes reverse engineering the app (except where the law allows it), tampering with ads or purchases, unlocking paid content without paying, committing ad fraud, submitting false or automated form entries, and copying or reselling content without permission.

9. Intellectual property

DBL or its licensors own the Service, the Destiny By Luminaries name, the logo and all content. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app. You may share your own readings for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Ending use

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your app data by clearing it or uninstalling the app. We may restrict access for anyone who breaches these Terms.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the purchase the claim relates to in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. These limits do not apply to liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or to any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract under the law where you live.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there where that law allows. If you are not a consumer, the courts that have jurisdiction under the governing law above have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting any claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it within 30 days.

13. App stores

Apple App Store: if you download the app from the Apple App Store, your licence to use the app is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and these Terms add to it. If they conflict, Apple's agreement applies to the licence. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any product, intellectual-property or legal claims about the app. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Google Play: if you download the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

14. Changes and contact

We will update the effective date above when these Terms change, and we will give notice in the app of material changes before they take effect. Questions: support@dblnexus.com.
