Privacy Policy
Last updated November 2, 2026 · Applies to the iSurvive app (Android and iOS) and to this website.
In short
- No account and no login.
- No personal data is sent to DBL Nexus by the app.
- Your progress, plans and certificates are stored only on your device.
- You can erase everything with “Delete all my data” in Profile.
Who we are
iSurvive is made by DBL Nexus. DBL Nexus is the trading name of the individual developer shown as the seller in the app store. Contact: support@dblnexus.com.
No account, no personal data sent to us
iSurvive does not ask you to create an account or log in. The app does not send your personal data to DBL Nexus, and we do not run a server that receives your information from the app.
What stays on your device
Your learning progress, quiz results, household plan, kit list, drill results, readiness checks and certificates are stored only on your device. The chat with Marichu runs fully offline on your device; your messages are not sent to us.
Location (optional)
If you allow it, the app uses your approximate (coarse) location on your device to choose your country’s emergency hotlines. Your location is used only on your device and is never uploaded.
Notifications (optional)
If you turn them on, the app schedules local notifications on your device. They are created on your phone and do not involve sending data to us.
Advertising
iSurvive is free and will show ads. Once ads are integrated, they are provided by Google AdMob, a third party. Before ads are shown, the app asks for your consent choices through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP), where consent is required. Users under 18 are not shown personalised ads. Ads never appear on emergency screens. Google’s use of data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Deleting your data
Open Profile and tap “Delete all my data” to erase your progress, plans and certificates from the device.
This website and the waitlist
If you join the iSurvive waitlist on this website, we collect your email address and your consent through Netlify Forms. Netlify hosts this website and stores form submissions for us. We use your email only to tell you when iSurvive launches; see also our website privacy notice. To be removed, reply to any of our emails or write to support@dblnexus.com. Like any web host, Netlify processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the website.
Children and use in schools
iSurvive is intended for users aged 13 and over. Because the app has no account and no personal data leaves the device, we do not collect information from children or students. Schools, LGUs and other organisations that use iSurvive with students should obtain any consent required by their own policies and local law before introducing the app.
Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to correct, to erase or block, to data portability, and to claim damages. Because the app keeps your data only on your device, you can view, change or erase it yourself at any time. For waitlist or support emails you send us, write to support@dblnexus.com. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines (privacy.gov.ph) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new date.
