Medical and safety disclaimer
iSurvive is an educational app. Its content is based on official sources, but it is not a substitute for emergency services or professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
In an emergency, always call your local emergency number first and follow the instructions of emergency services and local authorities.
1. About iSurvive
iSurvive is a survival and emergency preparedness app made by DBL Nexus. DBL Nexus is the trading name of the individual developer shown as the seller in the app store. By using the app or this website, you agree to these Terms.
2. Educational content
Lessons, cards, quizzes, Panic mode guides and chat answers are general information based on official sources such as the Red Cross, WHO, CDC, NHS, the Philippine Department of Health, PAGASA and PHIVOLCS. iSurvive is independent and is not affiliated with these organisations. Situations differ, and guidance from official sources can change. Always follow current instructions from emergency services and local authorities.
3. Chat with Marichu
The chat runs offline and answers from the app’s content. It does not diagnose conditions or recommend medicine doses. Do not rely on it in place of a doctor or emergency services.
4. Emergency hotlines
Hotline numbers are checked against official directories, but numbers and services can change and may not be available everywhere. Calling requires a working phone network. If a number does not connect, try your country’s general emergency number or ask someone nearby to call.
5. Certificates
Certificates show that you completed a topic in the app. They are for personal motivation and are not a professional qualification or a substitute for formal first-aid or safety training.
6. Free, with ads
iSurvive is free to use and shows ads. Ads are never shown on emergency screens. See the Privacy Policy for how ads work.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt it, or use share cards to mislead or harm others.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its design, the iSurvive name and Marichu are owned by DBL Nexus. Content credited to official sources remains subject to those sources’ terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, iSurvive is provided “as is”, and DBL Nexus is not liable for loss or harm arising from reliance on its content instead of emergency services or professional advice. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted here with a new date.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Contact: support@dblnexus.com.
